Established in April 2016, SpaceTime Performing Arts aims to give all members of society the opportunity to access the arts through learning and involvement. Through acting classes, piano lessons, and workshops, we aim to develop a passion for creativity and learning while building skills that can be used in everyday life!
All classes are developed with individual participants needs and wants in mind. As students increase in skill levels, what first begins as fun activities and games soon become technical exercises and eventually key tools of performance. Each class aims to develop particular aspects of performer development. Acting classes focusing on ideas such as character development, understanding, theatre history, improvisation, team work and vocal development while Piano lesson look at developing analytical thinking, memory, hand eye coordination, rhythm, and history of different genres. All of the skills gained through these classes are transferrable to everyday life and careers such as teachers, business owners, social workers, lawyers, nurses, directors and producers. Classes are available in both private and group environments.
