Every staff member at My Dentist Blackwood has undertaken training by the Autism Friendly Charter.

We strive to provide all our patients with tailored, empathetic, and best-in-class dental care.

 

To reduce dental anxiety, My Dentist Blackwood offers:

  • Nitrous Oxide ('happy gas') sedation
  • Weighted blankets
  • Sensory tools
  • Noise-cancelling headphones
  • Ceiling-mounted TVs (closed captioning)

 

Our Special Needs patient questionnaire helps us learn more about you or your family member, and helps us make your visit to the dentist a positive experience. If you or a family member has Autism, please don't hesitate to contact us to discuss your individual needs.
